In addition, α-Fe 2 O 3 /g-C 3 N 4 is not stable in acidic reaction systems. In this study, we developed the first ball-milling method and solvent-free routes for preparing g-C 3 N 4 wrapped α-Fe 2 O 3. The intimate alignment between Fe 2 O 3 and C 3 N 4 results in more efficient charge separation.
